Cogitating in a techy manner
This week sees the return to the North East of one of the world’s most interesting and intriguing conferences - Thinking Digital.
Held at The Sage Gateshead, a pretty impressive building itself, Thinking Digital brings together experts from all sorts of fields to help educate and inform their fellow thinkers. If that sounds a little vague, it can’t be helped. The conference’s director, Herb Kim, says that’s part of the appeal: “Defining exactly what to expect at Thinking Digital isn’t easy. We pride ourselves on the eclectic nature of our schedule. One moment you’ll be experiencing a first UK appearance of Live Mesh (as attendees where treated to in 2008) and the next you’ll be hearing about the science behind love from the world’s leading expert.”
So why am I writing about Thinking Digital? Well, I’m going. Hopefully. In spirit, at least. bdaily is sponsoring the event, so there’ll be a member of our team there on both Thursday and Friday if you want to come and chat to us. We’ll be making the most of the talks which have been laid on too.
Don’t come and disturb me while I’m at a talk, though, my multi-tasking skills are minimal.
