He has played in one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world, pulling on the world famous jerseys of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Rangers but now former National Hockey League star Chris McAllister has chosen Northumbria University's Newcastle Business School to further his career.

6' 7" McAllister has joined the Mincoff Vipers of the British Elite Ice Hockey League and will be studying at Newcastle Business School as part of his contract.
