Here at bdaily Towers this week we've been discussing which Christmas lights switch-on we want to go to - the North East has many to choose from, and the celebrities involved range from inspired choices to traditional standbys. But which North East town has the most appealing celebrity guests?

well, i dont really feel inspired by any of the choices really. im sure we can do better than that! i always think it should be local heros but run a competition beforehand to get people to enter and tell the city why it should be them....much better id say!
